This square cake is covered in white fondant with blue and chocolate brown stripes. A cute teddy bear sits on top. Below are 'toy blocks' to spell out the baby's name. We actually made two sets of this cake because it was for twins!
Nautical Themed Christening Cake12/19/2011  This three layer "topsy-turvy cake" was for baby BMW's christening pool party. The cake was covered in blue and white fondant icing and decorated with gumpaste anchors, floaters, sea horse and star fish. On top is a miniature boat , also made of gumpaste. Welcome Aboard BMW!"Wicker Crib" Baptism Cake12/19/2011  Isn't it cute? For this christening cake, we tried something new, using a mix of boiled icing and fondant. Boiled icing was used to create the wicker or basket weave look. Meanwhile a replica of the baby, pink blanket and pillows were made of fondant. The baby's parents chose choco chip for the flavor. |
